有些用户在访问代码中心时碰上访问问题，问题发生的频度正在迅速增大。我们正全速开发一个新界面，以替换掉已经良好地运行了好多年的旧CGI程序。一旦我们实现了足够多的功能值得您使用，就会发布通往新服务器beta版的链接。

大多数人能正确无误地访问代码中心。您能在http://cc.borland.com/ccweb.exe/到达现在的服务器。如果您访问现有服务器有问题，请明天回来检查。届时我们将提供一个通往新界面beta版的链接。

如果您访问代码中心时看见一条信息“catastrophic failure”（灾难性故障），那么你属于遭遇访问问题中的一员。有时刷新能解决问题，但很多情况下不行。

新界面的首要目标是解决当前的访问问题，但是您也将发现速度快很多且增加了新功能。

我们为这个不便而抱歉，同时感谢您的耐心。最迟在周五，完全的代码中心下载访问将有效。搜索引擎已经在工作，大多数的浏览器导航功能也已经实现。

我们将继继按照进度提供更新，直到完成透明的更换。所有现有的代码中心链接地址在新界面上最终都会得到支持。

Abstract: Please read this if you are having problems getting to CodeCentral

We are experiencing access problems with some user accounts when accessing CodeCentral. The frequency of occurence for the problem is increasing rapidly. We are working full-speed on a replacement interface for the old CGI application that has been working well all these years, and will post a link to the beta version of the new server as soon as we have enough functionality implemented to make it worth your while to use.

Most people are able to access CodeCentral without any issues. You can reach the existing server at http://cc.borland.com/ccweb.exe/. If you are one of the people having problems getting to the existing server, please check back tomorrow. We will provide a link to the beta version of the new interface by then.

If you see a "catastrophic failure" when accessing CodeCentral, you are one of the people experiencing the access problem. Sometimes refreshing the page resolves it, but many times it does not.

While the first objective for the new interface is to address the current access problems, you will also find that it is significantly faster and have new features as well.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Full access to downloads from CodeCentral should be available by Friday at the latest. The search engine is already working, and most of the browser navigation features are also implemented as well.

We will continue to provide updates on our progress until the transparent replacement is completed. All existing CodeCentral URLs will eventually be supported with the new interface.
