The following will cover the favourate shortcut for vim, and you don't need mouse at all.
1. i: move into insert mode
2. esc: clear the current mode,and go back the default mode
3. h(left), j(down), k(up),l(right)
4. x: remove the character in cursor
5. u: restore the previous action
6. ctrl+r: undo the action by quickshort 'u'
7. zz: exit without saving the change
8. a: append the text at the end of current position
9. dd: delete the current line
10. o: open a new line following the current line
