Senior Software Developer
Work description
- As Senior Software Developer you will be working in our Development Team making an important contribution to the development of new software solutions, employing the latest technology.
- You must have experience of object oriented design and extensive experience of developing in C#. Experience in building high-performance GUI software is essential, preferably both desktop and web-based.
- To succeed as Senior Software Developer you should have an understanding of layered architecture. You should be familiar with developing in a Microsoft Windows environment, utilizing software debugging tools and source code control systems. Exposure to automated testing methods and agile software development methodology would also be beneficial.
- You will have excellent communications skills and experience of working in a team environment dedicated to producing high quality software within tight deadlines. Occasional travel will be necessary in order to collaborate with colleagues currently based inOslo,Norway.
- A degree of flexibility is possible within the exact role definition so applications are invited from those with professional experience levels in the range 5-10+ years.
- The successful candidate will likely have a good degree in a software-engineering, scientific, or engineering subject area. Good programming skills are pre-requisite–however, a strong scientific or engineering background in addition would be a distinct advantage considering the application domain.
