英式乐队embrace——吸引力

 

Embrace来自英格兰西约克夏（West Yorkshire，England），成员包括：主唱Danny McNamara、吉他手Richard McNamara、鼓手Mike Heaton、贝斯手Steven Firth和键盘手Mick Dale（Mick Dale直到2001年才加入Embrace）。他们在1996年首次露面时，就被冠以“最有潜力”之类的溢美之词，并以单曲《All You Good Good People》崭露头角，1997年被誉为“1997年的最佳英伦乐队”。1998年发表首张专辑《The Good Will Out》，却被同时期出道的The Verve和同年代的Oasis的锋芒所掩盖，成为被大家所遗忘的乐队，有些沉寂，但也继续发行专辑。

　　在经历了一系列专辑《Drawn from Memory》（2000）、《If You've Never Been》（2001）和《Out of Nothing》（2005）之后，他们的最新专辑《This New Day》不论在是歌曲创作上或者是演唱、编曲和演奏的呈现，都已经凌越众多时下的乐团。而他们的成绩也正好印证了这一点，2006年，英格兰足协选中Embrace乐队的歌曲《World at Your Feet》作为2006年世界杯足球赛英格兰队的官方歌曲。

　　英式摇滚（BRIT-POP）有着优美、另类、颓废、迷幻的风格，我最初的接触还是在天下足球里，当时听了Coldplay的Yellow后就深深喜欢上了这种风格的音乐，后来也陆续接触到了其他的英伦乐队，感觉他们有着不同的特点，但却都是通过音乐向我们展示着他们张狂不安的个性和对人生、生活的态度。我这里说的拥抱乐队，我个人是非常喜欢的，因为他们的歌不是很闹，虽说是摇滚，但里面流露着优美清新的感觉......
