    1.Software Development Manager

    Responsibilities:

    * Lead software development projects, deliver high quality software that delights our customers on schedule

    * Software Development coordination. Maintain close ties with cross functional groups, for example, other software development teams, product design, testing and project management

    * Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across the project

    * Recruit and manage a strong, highly motivated, shared responsibility team

     

    Required Qualifications:

    * Strong English written and communication skills.

    * Industry experience delivering at least 2 major software applications

    * Software development experience in C++ , Java or .Net under Windows (NT, 2000 or XP)

    * 8+ Years of experience developing and/or managing software projects

    * BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

    * Excellent negotiation and consensus building abilities

    * Superb skills in supporting junior, mid, and senior level developers

     

     

    2.Software Development Manager

     

    Responsibilities:

    Formulates and continuously updates/maintains the technical development plan for assigned technology/product(s), based upon an ongoing comprehensive appraisal of its existing architecture, operating software functionality, and overall capabilities, and in response to present and projected customer demands for future product enhancements. Creates and maintains a formal analysis of development feasibilities, contrasting the projected consumer valuation of various enhancements with the expected investment in terms of required technical staff development time and potential for unanticipated technical difficulties.

     

    Independently, and/or in conjunction with assigned Project Management, creates, implements, and manages to project plans for the development and implementation of product development/ enhancements, including:

    Ÿ           Active participation in requirements analysis to ensure accurate identification/recognition of the essential issue/ problem under consideration.

    Ÿ           Identification of steps, goals and milestones and the estimation of time/resources required for each

    Ÿ           Determination of availability/suitability of internal versus external staff resources

    Ÿ           Contract development and management of external contractors

    Ÿ           Staff assignment and work team designation

    Ÿ           Project scheduling from initial design through development, testing, and implementation, including accommodation for the needs of other internal functions (i.e. Technical Publications, Localization).

    Management of the performance of all project resources through each step/milestone of the project to ensure the maximum opportunity for project completion on time, within budget including:

    Ÿ           Meeting regularly with team leaders to stay informed of progress as compared to plan.

    Ÿ           Identifying technical issues potentially impacting the timing of the Plan.

    Ÿ           Reallocating resources as necessary/feasible to address technical issues.

    Ÿ           Modifying the Plan as necessary to reflect the impact of technical/operational difficulties not resolvable by the application of available resources.

    Management through required adjustments to the Plan as required by mid-project alterations to the end-product development/enhancement.

    Develops and manages an assigned staff of software development professionals (including remote staff assigned to facilities in different time zones throughout the world). Selects, develops, and builds global or local teams by recruiting resources, defining and implementing staff development projects and programs, and by providing ongoing feedback/coaching, training and development.

    Teams with each member of the staff to support pursuit of career development, emphasizing team-leadership opportunities to those seeking to pursue growth into management roles, and encouraging focus on further technical training to staff with preference to remain high level individual contributors. Provides aggressive leadership to motivate work teams to develop and maintain a work ethic featuring both maximum productivity and optimal creativity. Translates high-level organizational goals to staff work goals.

    Maintains a level of personal technical expertise through an ongoing program of formal training and individual study of the latest technical developments in the field, complemented by active involvement with the day-to-day functioning of assigned software development work teams. Manages through subordinate staff, (and periodically may personally engage in) various technical functions of the development project, including design reviews, code reviews, bug count assessments, unit tests, etc. Redirects technical resources (and may personally engage) in addressing significant technical problems encountered within the development process.

    Maintains ongoing communications and awareness of the projects/plans/activities of other software development teams, first as a resource of applicable technology for use by the assigned development team and second as a potential resource of technical talent/knowledge available to assist in addressing problems. Ensures fellow Software Development Managers are updated as to assigned team's ongoing programs and activities. Periodically may loan/borrow staff on a temporary basis as necessary to ensure effective progress on projects throughout the Company.

    Participates in meetings with customers, project management, marketing, sales, etc. to understand and maintain an awareness of customer desires/preferences/priorities. Researches competitor products, programs and initiatives. Keeps abreast of the technology marketplace and aware of assigned products/Company products positioning within it. Identifies possible alternative business/marketplace applications for existing assigned products/Company products and/or possible new developments/ product enhancements that the marketplace would embrace, and surfaces such for investigation and potential development.

     

     

    3.Software Development Manager

    4.Senior Engineering Manager

     

    Requirements: - At least 10 years of technical and people management experience managing QA or development teams with a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering. Any additional experience in software development would be a strong plus. - Solid understanding and experience in applying state-of-the-art software engineering methods, strategies, concepts, and tools. - Industry experience delivering at least 2 major software applications - Software development experience in C++ , Java or .Net under Windows (NT, 2000 or XP) - Formal training in software engineering or project management
