What CodeMonitor Does:
CodeMonitor takes a snapshot of the code for each page you specify.
Each day, CodeMonitor then goes out and looks at each page again,
comparing it to the snapshot previously taken. If the two versions are different,
CodeMonitor then
sends you an email to notify you that a change has been made to the page. You
can then login to your CodeMonitor account to view a side-by-side
code view of the two pages. Differences in the code are highlighted for you.
What CodeMonitor Doesn't Do:
CodeMonitor does not monitor the HomeLand Security Color Codes,
nor does it inform you of Tax Code changes passed in your city, state, or Washington,
DC. You cannot use CodeMonitor to remember your PIN Code, security
alarm code or V-Chip code.
Why Should You Use Code Monitor:
- You should use CodeMonitor if you own a website that is regularly
being changed by webmasters, SEOs, SEM, or your grandma.
- You should use CodeMonitor if you are an SEO or SEM and want
to be notified when a client makes changes that could effect the optimization
efforts.
- You should use CodeMonitor if you want to monitor
changes made on a competitors website!
What About content that updates automatically?
No worries. CodeMonitor allows you to add exclusion comment tags
within your code around any dynamically changing content. Any regularly changing
content such as RSS, news fees, current date or ads, can simply be excluded
from the monitoring and notifying process. Use the exclusion tags below.
