手工导入磁带一法

手工导入磁带

nbu恢复的时候，有时会需要用到过期或者其他的在catalog中不存在的磁带。这时，我们需要手工导入磁带，实现恢复操作。

前两天，我们做系统恢复测试，需要将磁带从生产系统恢复到测试系统，而两个系统所使用的条码规则不一样，导入的方法和普通的导入稍微有些不同。

1.从生产系统取出磁带放入测试系统磁带机，在nbu console界面做如下操作：

右键点击master server下的media，在弹出的菜单中选择Inventory Robot，出现Robot Inventory对话框。选择相应的Device host和Robot，在Inventory operation中选择Preview volumn configuration changes，同时勾选Empty media access port prior to update，单击start开始扫描。

从输出的信息中找到刚放入的磁带，记录下所在的slot号。

3.磁带添加完成后，执行
# bpimport -create_db_info -id U572L2 -L /tmp/out.file

4.在控制台中选择catalog，action选择import，在Media ID中填入刚导入的磁带：U572L2，Date/Time Range:选择要查找的时间范围，单击search now。

右击找到的需要导入的备份集，选择import导入备份。

经过以上步骤，就可以实现过期磁带的导入了。
