今天的故事——AJ NO 26 Search for meaning

AJ在main text里推荐了一本书。The Book named 《Man's search for meaning》。

作者是名心理学家，二战爆发后，作者及其家人被德国纳粹带到集中营，作者全家只有作者一人幸免遇难。但他在纳粹集中营遭到了虐人的折磨。作者用这种经历创造出了his own meaning for life。

He was not quit，没有变成坏脾气大叔，没有从此仇恨人类。相反，he was learn to love ，help other people，而且，he wrote this incredible book 《man's search for meaning》。

他在集中营里学到了一点：我们的经历，并不是我们生活的最重要的事情。

更为重要的是，我们从经历当中创造出来的meaning。这些meaning 也许是我们继续生活的power，也许会destroy your life 。

Your Experience

集中营里，有人足够强壮，有人失去希望。有人终日低沉，有人放弃，有人死去。Which one

continue strong minds，still have hope。他从如此糟糕的事件中，他看到了很多人性的展现。

我们给予事件的meaning 往往是experience 本身。

作者在集中营里看到了太多关于人性的展现。集中营的非人虐待折磨，murdering,killing prisoners 会很容易选择这种meaning：人，是邪恶的，恐怖的，human are all bad。然后他们变的易怒，失去希望。但是作者没有像很多人那样选择，他选择了相反的一面，the meaning he gave was that：humanbeings are powerful and strong ，they can survive from anything。

一样的经历，但是他选择了不一样的meaning，他选择了希望，love。

Search for your English Meaning!

我们很少有人会经历那样特殊的经历，但是，就英语学习方面而言，也许你有boring teacheres

,肯定也有terrible terrible test books in our English classes。

有人会认为，英语太难了，我根本不可能学会它。他们选择的meaning 就是，我不适合学英语，太难了。

但是有人会给这样的经历加以这样的meaning，not me，not English。也许是我的Method

不够powerful，我的方法不太适合我，我会选择适合我的方法继续加油。这是选择了一种Postive

meaning~~

书里有一段很nice的话：

“Don't aim at success，the more you aim at it，and make it a target，and you are going

more to miss it。for success ，like happiness，not be pursued,it must insue.”

Let it happen，don't care much about it.跟随内心的情感，踏上漫漫长路的时候，success will

follow you。Because you focus on something bigger than yourself。

A Bigger Goal

只关注你自己个人的成功，得到好的成绩，找到更好的工作。Actually you will found it is

difficult to success。You will not get that success easily。

But if you found different meaning，the goal is bigger than you。If you focus on contributing and connecting to other people helping people，using your success to help people 。Do something bigger than just you。You will actually succeed more。Choose the goal bigger than you ,choose help more than yourself，you can benefit more ，you get more success than selfish。
