Content Self-Service engineer Responsibilities

Include:

General requirement management, can breakdown the Content high level requirements to Component level requirement;
Design and implement the end-to-end workflow of Analytics Platform Content Self-Service platform;
Component level Verify and Unit-Testing; and design the System Level testings
Taking ownership of service issues reported from Content team and seeing problems through to resolution
Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams/

Job Qualifications

We are looking for a Technical Software Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our Self-Service Infrastructure in Analytics Platform. The Engineer will design the end-to-end workflow of Content Self-Service infrastructure by using the EDP building blocks and Analytics Platform on AWS. The engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot software and data problems and help our Content team to implement their business logic on top of AP Self-Service Platform.

To be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering. AWS, Microsoft, or similar certification is a plus. If you’re naturally a helper, enjoy assisting people with computer issues and are able to explain technical details simply, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Research and identify solutions of AP Content Self-Service Infrastructure
Design and implement the software to drive the whole Self-Service Infrastructure
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including AWS roles, networks configuration
Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
Know what and know how the Refinitiv systems are running on AWS and on-perm
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to Content Team
Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
Maintain jovial relationships with Content teams

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Software Engineer, Content Experts, and Support Engineer or similar role
Hands-on experience with Refintiv Elektron rea-time and Content DBoR and EDP building blocks is a plus
Good understanding of computer systems, data flow, data formats and other tech products
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal for Content and Operations teams
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
