FAP inhibitors，其中FAP（也称为seprase）是一种II型跨膜丝氨酸蛋白酶。质膜和可溶性形式都表现出脯氨酸切割后的内肽酶活性，对Ala/Ser-Gly-Pro-Ser/Asn/Ala共有序列具有显著的偏好。还可降解明胶，使I型胶原热变性。还具有二肽基肽酶活性，优选Ala-Pro、Ile-Pro、Gly-Pro、Arg-Pro和Pro-Pro。质膜形式与DPP4、PLAUR或整合素结合，参与细胞外基质（ECM）的细胞周蛋白水解。
