Design of the Ball Mill Wear-resistant Materials

When designing the vertical mill and ball mill, tube mill, wear-resistant material , what factors we need to take into account? We specially summarized the following points , for reference only:

1, abrasive material

Abrasion are granular or powdered materials which are all handled by the device. The abrasive material covered by the cement plants are limestone, clay, sandstone, iron ore, iron powder, bauxite, cement clinker, all kinds of mixed materials, gypsum and cement and so on,accoring to the physical shape , these abrasive particles cab be divided into Granular and powdered abrasive objects

2. abrasive objects

Abrasive objects - refers to the equipment spare parts which contact with the abrasive materials and occur relative movements with them.there are wide type range of cement plant equipments, processing and manufacturing of standard equipment the both device manufacturer in accordance with the corresponding equipment standard developed countries or companies, including various pipelines, silos, downpipe individually designed manufacturing process layout, the non- standard equipment  produce on-site.

According to their state of motion,Parts of the equipment can be divided into parts sports equipment and non-move parts,  sports equipment referred to as dynamic equipment, parts without movement equipment referred to as static equipment, movement type of the equipment can be divided into linear motion and circumferential movement of parts and other sports.

Parts of the equipment according to their metal wear-resistant material is divided into the wear parts and wear parts, so the choice of wear-resistant materials can be divided into the choice of wear parts metal wear-resistant materials and non-wear parts, wear-resistant protective layer resistant grinding the choice of materials into two categories.

3, wear-resistant material

According to the production process, uses and physical properties of different,wear-resistant materials have  different classification methods.according to the nature of the material itself, Wear-resistant materials can be divided into metal wear-resistant materials, ceramic wear-resistant materials, polymer wear-resistant materials, composite wear materials,

Metal wear-resistant materials are mostly applicated in the dynamic device itself moving parts and serious internal wear parts to reduce the wear of the abrasive objects , that is the abrasive object itself, for example, mill liner, ball, hammer crusher, hammer, jaw, roller, disc, roller grate cooler grate plate. Cement equipment often used in metal wear-resistant materials of high chromium cast iron, high manganese steel, alloy steel containing tungsten carbide, chromium carbide, titanium carbide. According to the application shape, ceramic wear-resistant materialscan be divided into the shaped and unshaped wear-resistant ceramic materials
