 While applying latest WINDOWS DB BUNDLE PATCH 11.2.0.4.181016 with latest OPatch-11.2.0.3.20,the following errors are seen -

The generated response file can be reused on different platforms and in multiple OPatch silent installs.

To regenerate an OCM response file, Please rerun
"C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\3\oracle-home-154337867001241\OPatch\ocm\bin\emocmrsp.bat".

CHANGES
 

CAUSE
Identified in an unpublished  Bug.

 

SOLUTION
The errors are due to the missing OCM response file.
1. Generate an OCM response File by running -

C:\ $ORACLE_HOME\OPatch\ocm\bin\emocmrsp.bat".

2. Then rerun the apply cmd by passing the location of the response file ocm.rsp to "-ocmrf" flag -

C:\ opatch apply -ocmrf <full location of Response file)

Note - The messages related to OOP(Out of Place) Patching would be removed in the next OPatch Version.
