JDE scheduler explain_Job Launcher and Job Monitor

There is no functionality in EnterpriseOne to setup notifications for when the job launcher (or monitor) is paused or un-paused. The Server Manager definitely does not support any such notifications.

The SJSCHCTCD01 field of the control record for Scheduler in table F91300 is used to stored the relevant information. (Remember, the control record for Scheduler is the record in the F91300 table that has a value of *SCHEDULER for its SJSCHJBMN field.)

The value of the SJSCHCTCD01 field of the control record is always a sequence of exactly three binary digits. When the Scheduler server is down, the value is 000. When the Scheduler server is up, the possible values are 111, 011, 101 and 001. The values are defined as follows:

    111 - neither the job launcher nor the job monitor is paused  ---  job launcher和job monitor都在运行
    011 - the job launcher is paused but the job monitor is not paused  --- job launcher 暂停  job monitor运行
    101 - the job launcher is not paused but the job monitor is paused  ---  job launcher运行  job monitor暂停
    001 - both the job launcher and the job monitor are paused  ---  job launcher和job monitor都暂停
 

Additional Information:

    Control Record -  is a job record in the F91300 table. It is named *SCHEDULE and is hidden from the user. The *SCHEDULE record contains information about the state of the Scheduler processes on the server, and it is the method of communicating to those processes.

    Job Launcher - continually looks at table F91320 for jobs to launch through Scheduler.  This process can be stopped, especially when bouncing E1 services on the server that runs Scheduler to avoid server connection errors when the server is down.  Job Launcher can be paused from the Form menu in the Scheduler Server Control form.

Job Launcher - 实时监控从scheduler进入到F91320中的job。此进程可以停止，但可以从Server Control-Form中停止Job Laucnher。

    Job Monitor - monitors the status of launched jobs in Scheduler.  Job Monitor can also be paused from the Form menu in the Scheduler Server Control form.  The Job Monitor has a Sleep Time field that indicates the number of minutes the job monitor will pause between job status checks.
Job Monitor - 监控scheduler中已经launch的job。可以停止 Job Monitor。可以设置job monitor间隔时间。
