Position title: Senior Software Engineer (Java/J2EE) - Shanghai

 

Job Descriptions:

-         Specifies, designs, implements, tests and maintains software to meet functional and technical requirements.

-         Involves working on or integrating with emerging Internet technologies and components, applications and database servers, writing documentation for software deliverables, performing unit and integration testing and participation in code reviews.

 

 

Requirements:

-         Minimum 5 years of Java development experience, particularly core Java including threads and sockets programming.

-         Experience in J2SE / J2EE development skills (JMS, JDBC, Struts).

-         Strong skills in XML (SXLT, XPath and DTDs).

-         Good knowledge in Linux environment and queuing technologies (Perl and Shell).

-         Knowledge in wireless data/messaging technologies (SMS, MMS, SMPP, HTTP, UCP and etc).

-         Good team player, responsible and analytical.

-         Strong communications and interpersonal skills.

-         Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.

-         Experience in telecommunication industry (eg SMPP, SS7 protocol) will be an added advantage.

-         Experience in C / C++ on Linux will be an added advantage.
