spill the beans 泄露秘密

Spill the beans refers to disclosing a secret or confessing to something. spill倒出，溢出，spill the beans倒出豆子，来表示某人说漏了嘴，泄露了消息。

别说出去了。这可是个秘密。
The research found that women intended to spill the beans to others. 研究发现女人常会把秘密告诉其他人。
