通过tape恢复的方法，扩展根目录

PA-RISC
1. 做OS备份 #make_tape_recovery -Av (需先安装ignite-UX)
2. #shutdown -ry 0
3. 在10秒中断处discontinue
4. #sea (search可启动设备)
5. #bo P* (选择磁带机)
6. #interact with IPL(Y,N,Cancel)>n
7. 在出现以下信息时，中断batch-mode: Press within 10 seconds to cancel batch-mode installation
8. 接下来的步骤跟Install基本一样： a.Install HP-UX b.Media only installation c.Advanced Installation

 

 

Itanium
1. 同上,#ioscan -fneC tape 记录下EFI设备的磁带机路径。
2. 同上。
3. 启动时会出现一个Boot Manager界面，选择“Boot Configuration”
4. Boot configuration->Boot From File
5. Load File *** 此处相当于选择一个启动路径，但是是EFI设备的路径。(#ioscan –fneC tape)
6. Press any key to interrupt autoboot
7. 选择PS2类型：26
8. 同上。

 

注：问过HP工程师，安腾系列机器在11i v2版本后，都可以通过tape直接引导系统。
