troubleshooting: IBM POWER RMC Network Connection to the Partition is Not Present

 

Mehdi I got those both links from very long time and already did make all steps, however find what I did and the problem still there!!

I tried:

#stopsrc -g rsct
#stopsrc -g rsct_rm

and start both again:
#startsrc -g rsct
#startsrc -g rsct_rm

And still can't add dynamically

I can normally telnet port 657 and from the VIO to HMC!

Didn't try to restart the HMC as the rest of partitions I could add or remove dynamically resources normally!

Tried to stop and start RMC without erasing the configuration:
# /usr/sbin/rsct/bin/rmcctrl -z
# /usr/sbin/rsct/bin/rmcctrl -A
# /usr/sbin/rsct/bin/rmcctrl -p

And still the problem!

Then tried:
# /usr/sbin/rsct/install/bin/recfgct
Which reset the RMC configuration
But the problem still!

Currently:
# lssrc -a | grep rsct
ctcas rsct 8650834 active
ctrmc rsct 12058624 active
IBM.DRM rsct_rm 27197658 active
IBM.ServiceRM rsct_rm 20251174 active
IBM.ERRM rsct_rm 62259324 active
