Colorize Git Terminal Commands

Add the following to your ~/.gitconfig file to show the git command output in color when working in a terminal. This is really handy, give it a go.

[color]
ui = auto
[color "branch"]
current = yellow reverse
local = yellow
remote = green
[color "diff"]
meta = yellow bold
frag = magenta bold
old = red bold
new = green bold
[color "status"]
added = yellow
changed = green
untracked = cyan
