===Pre-installation====
1. Apply your rhn account on RHN(http://rhn.redhat.com)
account name: rhn-engineering-xxx (xxx is your name);
2. Apply your rhn activation key from Lawrence;
3. Apply your rhn satellite cert from GSS Beijing;
4. Download the satellite iso from RHN
a. Login in rhn with your account name and password.
b. Click the link DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE link.
c. Chose the RHN Satellite iso.
+Red Hat Enterprise Linux (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64)
|_Red Hat Network Satellite (v5.3 for Server v5 AMD64 / Intel64)
d. Download the iso Satellite 5.3.0 Installer for RHEL-5 - (Embedded Database)
===Installation=======
1. Chekc the Selinux as permissive.
2. Import the GPG key.
# rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-redhat-*
3. mount the iso on a dirctory in your rhn satellite server.
# mkdir /media/rhn
# mount -o loop satellite-embedded-oracle-5.3.0-20090506-rhel-5-x86_64.iso /media/rhn
# cd /media/rhn
4. Install it.
# ./install.pl

Step 3. Setting up database
Step 4. Admin Email Address
Step 5. Activating RHN Satellite
Step 6. Creating SSL certificates
===Post Configuration====
1. Open the RHN satellite page
https://server_hostname/
2. Create the first user account on the Satellite by opening the Satellite's
hostname in a Web browser and clicking Create Account. This will be the
Satellite Administrator's account.
Desired Loging: admin
Desired Password: redhat

===Configure the Client====
1. # wget http://server_hostname/pub/rhn-org-trusted-ssl-cert-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
2. # rpm -ivh rhn-org-trusted-ssl-cert-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
3. # rhnreg_ks --serverUrl https://server_hostname/XMLRPC --sslCACert
/usr/share/rhn/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT --username admin --password redhat

===Import Channels from RHN===
# satellite-sync -c Channel_label
