GFS文件系统中安装Oracle RAC的限制

今天在虚拟机中尝试安装基于GFS2文件格式的Oracle 10R2 RAC，结果发现在clusterware安装的最后一步，执行root.sh时一直报错：
PROT-1: Failed to initialize ocrconfig
Failed to upgrade Oracle Cluster Registry configuration

查看日志发现报错为不支持文件系统。

晕了，查资料吧。

在redhat网站上找到的文档都使用了裸设备分区，而在metalink上也发现下面这句话：

III. Components of a RAC cluster that can use GFS

Both shared home and database files can reside on GFS using the context dependant path names feature.

The Oracle Clusterware file OCR (Oracle Cluster Repository) and quorum VOTE file must be placed on raw devices. This is due to a limitation in the Clusterware installer to recognize GFS.

彻底晕倒，唉，另外加共享磁盘吧，分区往下再做测试试试吧。希望能成功
