Adding A New System to An Existing Transport Domain
Step by Step
1 Configuration of A Single System Landscape
1.1 Log in SAP system in client 000 via SAP GUI, call transaction STMS, confirm the pop-up;
1.2 Specify a Virtual System and Create a Transport Route between Virtual System
and Actual System, in STMS main screen, follow System Overview (Shift + F6);
1.3 Execute SAP System --> Create --> Virtual System;
1.4 Create a Transport Route via Transport Routes (Shift + F7),
a system without a Transport Route cannot export Transport Requests,
There are 2 ways to setup Transport Routes: Graphical Editor and Hierarchical List Editor;
1.5 In Transport Routes screen, switch to Editing Mode,
choose Configuration --> Standard Configuration --> Development and Production System;
1.6 In Pop-up, Development System: Actual System SID,
Production System: Virtual System SID;
1.7 Save and active Transport Route.
2 Adding A New System to An Existing Transport Domain
2.1 Log in Production System in client 000 via SAP GUI, call transaction STMS,
confirm the pop-up, the Domain Controller have been created in Production System;
2.2 Log in Development System in client 000 via SAP GUI, call transaction STMS,
in the pop-up screen, select Other Configuration, and select Include System in Domain;
2.3 Enter the Target Host and System Number of the transport Domain Controller;
2.4 Enter Transport Management System In Production System ,
follow System Overview (Shift + F6), select the Development System and choose SAP System --> Approve;
2.5 Enter Transport Routes screen, switch to Editing Mode, choose
Configuration --> Standard Configuration --> Development and Production System;
2.6 In Pop-up, choose the Development System and the Production System;
2.7 Save and active Transport Route.
Tips
If the SAP system is exist in System Overview when configure TMS (Transport Management System), and you cannot delete the SAP system, you can call T-Code SE06 to delete the TMS.
