本文主要描述一个报错场景：主库是5.5，使用xtrabackup备份后，恢复出来一个从库，然后从库的版本是5.6 ， 5.6从库错误日志频繁报错。

主库是5.5，使用xtrabackup备份后，恢复出来一个从库，然后从库的版本是5.6 ， 5.6从库错误日志频繁报错。报错内容大致如下：

7f00e2777700 InnoDB: Error: Table "mysql"."innodb_table_stats" not found.
7f00e2777700 InnoDB: Recalculation of persistent statistics requested for table "xxx"."xxx" but the required persistent statistics storage is not present or is corrupted. Using transient stats instead.

5.6 从库开启了多线程复制，并且执行change master 的时候报错：

[Warning] Info table is not ready to be used. Table 'mysql.slave_worker_info' cannot be opened
[ERROR] Could not delete from Slave Workers info repository.

出现的原因主要就是 5.6 版本的实例使用了从5.5恢复出来的数据文件，解决办法如下：
1、使用mysql_upgrade将数据文件升级，具体方法参照：

2、在线手动添加缺失的表结构
需要创建的表有：
innodb_index_stats
innodb_table_stats
slave_master_info
slave_relay_log_info
slave_worker_info
虽然没有具体研究mysql_upgrade做了什么操作，但是线上还是不建议直接创建这5张表，还是建议使用mysql_upgrade升级数据文件的。

不过事实证明，这样的从库起来之后还是无法追上主库了。
