Ball Mill Introduction

The Ball Mill is widely applied in mineral classification, cement,chemical industry,etc. It can grind all kinds of rocks and grindable materials. This ball millhas two ways of grinding: The dry process and wet process. Our Great Wall ball mill has been increased about 20% and unit product power consumption has been reduced 10%-12% down.

Ball Mill Structure

Ball mill is composed of feeding part, discharging part, turning part and driving part (reducer, small driving gear, electric motor and electric control). The quill shaft adopts cast steel part and the liner is detachable. The turning gearwheel adopts casting hobbing process and the drum is equipped with wear-resistant liner, which has good wear-resistance. The ball mill is with stable and reliable working condition. Moreover, according to different materials and discharging methods, there are dry ball mills and wet ball mills for choice.

Ball Mill Woking Principle

Ball mill can be divided into lattice type and overflow type according to different discharging methods, this machine is two lattice type ball mill.

The material from the feeding equipment enter evenly to the first bin of the milling machine via the feeding hollow axis, there is a ladder-like or ripple-like scale board in the first bin, and different specification steel balls are setted in the bin, when the cylinder rotates and produces centrifugal force, the force carries the steel balls into a certain height and then makes them fall to strike nd grind the materials. After coarse grinding in the first bin, the material then enter into the second bin via a single layer partition board, there is a scale board and steel balls in the second bin, so the materials are further grinded, in the end, the powder is discharged by output material board.

Ball mill is mainly composed of charging and discharging, cyclone and rotation parts. Hollow axis is made of steel parts with a lining replacable. Major rotation gear, machined by rolling wheel of casting, is lined with wearing plate with fine wear-resistingproperty. This makes the ball mill runs stably and reliably.
