Cause
The behavior. and stack trace point to Bug 7706062.
This problem is caused by internal latching issues which will raise these errors.
Solution
This defect is fixed in 10.2.0.5. Depending on the version of your database, Patch 7706062 may exist.
As of Nov. 2010, this patch exists for:
- 10.2.0.3 / Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
- 10.2.0.4 / Solaris on SPARC (64-bit), Linux x86-64, IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit) and HP-UX Itanium
- 10.2.0.4.PSU #x on multiple platforms.
When possible, we recommend that you preferably upgrade to 10.2.0.5.If this is not possible, download and install Patch 7706062.
Another option that has worked for some customers is also to check for invalid objects in the database and validate them.
