But spam sent as Apple Calendar invites can’t be detected like traditional email spam, and blocking calendar invites from everyone but known users would be overkill and undermine this feature. After all, there are any number of legitimate calendar invites you can receive from unknown users.

Deleting spam on your Mac’s Calendar is accomplished in essentially the same way as on an iPhone.

First open your Calendar app and click File > New Calendar. (You may have to select an account, such as iCloud.)

Hopefully, that should do the trick and your calendar will now be spam free. Unfortunately, this won’t prevent new spam from appearing in your Calendar, and you will have to perform this procedure all over again if new spam shows up. But at least you can delete it without letting the spammers know you’re real.
