BlizzCon Tix Sell Out

The first round of tickets for Blizzard's 2009 BlizzCon convention went on sale on Saturday 16th and sold out extremely quickly. The company has implemented a new ticket buying queue system to help alleviate the issues experienced by users wanting to attend to the show from last year.
The initial allotment of tickets for BlizzCon 2009 has now been sold out. If you weren't able to get tickets this time, you'll have a second chance on Saturday, May 30, as another batch will go on sale then. Coverage of the gaming festival will also be offered by DIRECTV as a Pay Per View event, available both via satellite and Internet stream.

As stated on the official site, there's a second round of tickets that are due to go on-sale on Saturday May 30th. Other methods of viewing the convention include a live web stream of the show, and also the reprisal of last year's DirectTV pay-per-view event. This year's show will take place at the Anaheim convention center on August 21-22.
