The Secret of Monkey Island Coming?

The German USK ratings board has apparently slipped up (again) and revealed a little something special for fans of LucasArts' The Secret of Monkey Island. According to a news post seen on GamerBytes, The Secret of Monkey Island -- Special Edition is in existance, and will be published by Activision Blizzard (note that Acti publishes LucasArts' titles in Europe.)

The German USK rating board has revealed that The Secret Of Monkey Island - Special Edition is on its way. This was the very original Monkey Island game, from all the way back in 1990. As for what makes it a Special Edition is currently unknown -- could they be re-doing the graphics? Could the game possibly have a voice cast?

While a recent search on the German USK ratings board site no longer turns up an entry for this unannounced project, it doesn't mean to say that it's not coming. Look to E3 for a little more?
