Ubuntu安裝Real Player

現在熱門的卡通幾乎都是以rmvb在網路上流通的,也就是說愛好卡通的人都一定會安裝解rm的code,不用多說首選一定都是RealPlayer,那是因為我也不知道還有什麼軟體可解rm影音 ,就算是用別套軟體播放也是用Real的decode

最近開始使用Ubuntuu不免俗的也愛上了使用apt
$ sudo apt-cache search realplay

從Synaptic看apt-get的realplayer是8.5版,相對於Windows來說也才是Basic版,連RealOne都還到不了 ,而且安裝的過程中一直無法順利下載source,基於這兩點乾脆放棄apt,從官網裝就好.

既 然這樣為何不一開始就從官網抓,那是因為在使用SUSE及Mandriva的時候官網只提供bin而不提供source,而且在安裝過程中老是塞了一堆東 西在各資料夾裡,安裝起來之後又無法順利播放,從那時對官網提供的安裝檔就有很不好的印象.不過這次要Ubuntu上再試一次,下載網址如下
http://www.real.com/linux

$ sudo ./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin

版本比apt上提供的還要新的太多嘍!!

這版本改過了,不再強制解開安裝在/usr/local底下,而是預設在原始檔案目錄下,但可以選擇安裝路徑,我習慣自己安裝的軟體都是放在opt底下

安裝過程中會問你是否要作link到/usr/local底下,預設是Yes,他只給你幾秒鐘的思考時間,為了以後刪除檔案方便及用不到這些link,我選擇N嘍~~

安裝好就可以使用RealPlayer啦

若你使用 FC4,Ubuntu 5.10 或任何 gcc-4.x 編譯的 Linux 發行版本,而又同時使用 SCIM 輸入法系統,那麼,你便要修改安裝目錄下的realplay,
$ sudo vi /opt/realplayer/realplay
在檔案起始部份加入以下這一句,
export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim
然後存檔,這樣做後便可正常啟動 RealPlayer for Linux 了.

但是播放的時候發覺沒有聲音,怎麼辦??我不要變成聾子 ,此時還需要作一點修正,如果 Linux 以 ALSA 作輸出時 RealPlayer 即時有安裝了也不能啟動,因為 RealPlayer 並不支援 ALSA 輸出,以下方法能解決在 ALSA 的 Linux 下啟用 RealPlayer.
$ sudo apt-get install alsa-oss

主要是加入 aoss,讓系統使用 alsa-oss 開啟 RealPlayer.
