一、方程式：   Did you ever learn to do X?

等式： 

1. Did you learn how to ride a bike when you were a child?

2. Did you learn to play a musical instrument in school?

3. Did you learn how to swim when you were young?

 

二、口语公式：

Step 1:  Say if you did learn to do X and when you learned to do it.

         说自己是不是学过，是的话，什么时候学的。

Step2:  Say who taught you to do X.

         是谁教你的。

Step3:  Say what their personality was like as a teacher.

          描述教练/老师的性格，个性。

Step4: How well you played it?

三、口语点睛：

1. 运用past tense(过去式)+人生不同时期（my parents gave me a computer when I was in middle school）

 2. 运用被动+with the preposition:“by”(I was introduced to the guitar by my friend prince)

3.运用非限制定语从句或者描述性格的形容词use non-defining relative clauses and adjectives of personality to describe the person who taught you.

如：Winnie, who taught me English, was an outstanding teacher

4. 口语标记词: Because, but.

5. 人物性格词：caring，supportive，encouraging，kind，  understanding，talented， firm(性格坚定地，有毅力的)， patient， strict（严格的）…….

 

四、口语方程式运用举例：（公式如果运用到口语中会用颜色标记出来）

Q： Did you learn to ride a bike as a child?

A : Yes, I did! Hmmm….let me think. My parents bought me a really wonderful new bike during the Spring Festival. I was taught to ride by my uncle, who was incredibly encouraging but quite strict because he was determined to teach me to ride before the end of the holiday.
