Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions Community Technical Preview October 2004  Download!

The October 2004 Community Technical Preview (CTP) releases are now available for download. These downloads contain a more recent version of the Express Editions than the Beta, however, CTP builds do not go through the same rigourous testing that Beta builds undergo. Therefore, do not install these builds on machines you depend on.

  The Microsoft® .NET Framework Software Development Kit (SDK) version 2.0 includes everything developers need to write, build, test, and deploy .NET Framework applications—do***entation, samples, and command-line tools and compilers. You must install the .NET Framework Redistributable Package version 2.0 prior to installing the .NET Framework SDK.
