Student benefit from the advanced technology

Despite the detrimental aspects that it has brought to human beings, the advanced technology indeed enormously provides more efficient, effective, and convenient approaches to handle our daily lives. In my opinion,students in this modern time have been entangled into the revolution of the advanced technology, especially the explosive development of Internet. However,I have conceded that explosion of the information in this era does become another great challenge for the students.

First of all, the production of the new technology in 1980’s,the personal computer, has significantly changed students’ way to learn materials.  Have you encountered with this situation? A rigorous professor has assigned each person to write a logical and professional thesis by comparing an unfamiliar author’s different literary books. Especially, the professor also has required them to complete it in one week. To some extent, It seems no difficult for students now to find the useful or essential resources and materials about the author’s information and literary books, just by connecting to the database of the library.  Instead of wandering in the library to search for the relevant references, students could focus on the organization and logical expression of this particular assignment.

Secondly, the introduction of e-classes gives students more multiple alternatives to develop their own talents and interests. Under the promotion of several celebrated universities, more and more open courses are available for students to download from Internet or directly watching the online conveniently. Various subjects’ excellent open courses including compute rscience, art, psychology, basic mathematics and etc. bring the students from all over the world into the same classes of famous universities. Insightful thoughts, aggressive discussion and logical teaching would strike your thoughts,and stimulate your potential and gifts to have a better understanding of one field.  

However, everything has two sides. There is no doubt that the advanced technology has become an essential part and parcel of our daily life.  Malicious and deceptive information are utilizing the same channel to penetrate all aspects of an individual’s life.To some extent, vulnerable students are always become the objects or targets of illegal behaviors.

To the conclusion, the advanced technology,especially the booming development of Internet has brought human beings into the information era.  Connected by thousands of, even more the intranets, Internet provides us the gargantuan/enormous information databases for searching the useful materials. Students now have changed the way to learn and find the essential information through this advanced technology. Furthermore, available e-classes give students much more various choices to open their horizons, and arouse their own curiosity about one subject. However, the deleterious and jeopardized information spreading on the internet should be eliminated from students’ lives.
