今天正式决定不去路透了。

原来约好的这周五去路透继续面试,去过三次了。这次的面试时间也改了几次,这几天实在没有合适的时间过去,而到现在正式决定不去了。因为这里有了更多留下 来的理由,也想给自己再多一点时间发展,不给自己一个跳空高开的机会,高开的缺口迟早会回补的。而且路透的面试过程实在太慢了,一个多月的时间还定不下 来,真的不清楚自己到底是不是符合这个职位,不想把时间都浪费到这种无聊的面试上,好好工作了。这次坚决不给自己一个跳空高开的机会,因为我知道高开的缺 口迟早会回补的。

Role and Responsibilities

  • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced database administrator with at least 5 years in Oracle Database Management experience on Sun Solaris platform.
  • The role is working within the Oracle DBA team (part of NDA Design team) which is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the Oracle database installations that make up the NDA system.
  • As well as administering the development and test database installations, the team is the centre of expertise on Oracle capabilities within NDA and responsible for installation and configuration management of the Oracle environments.
  • External to the Design Team, the successful applicant must liaise with the various stakeholder groups and provide effective communication, using the language and terminology of the particular group.
  • The main stakeholders in NDA that the DBA team must work with include development teams, second and third level support and implementation teams within Global Operation.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • 5-6 years Database Management experience on Sun Solaris platform
  • 3 -5 years experience of Oracle PL/SQL;
  • Ability to understand complex technical issues quickly and assess the impact of change
  • Ability to forge relationships with key development and operational personnel
  • Ability to understand development and operational processes
  • Ability to provide design insight for Oracle technologies
  • Review requirements and understand business and technical implications
  • Good knowledge of Unix / Solaris
