I did astrange thing at the first day of the new year and Oracle gave me a foolish feedback then I took a rather long timeto find the root cause about the issue.

$ sqlplus scott/tiger

With the Partitioning, Real Application Clusters, Oracle Label Security, OLAP

SQL> CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW sgreports.summary on prebuilt table
2 REFRESH force with primary key
3 AS select *
4 FROM sgreports.summary;
CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW sgreports.summary on prebuilt table

ORA-04020: deadlock detected while trying to lock object

SQL> CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW summary on prebuilt table
2 REFRESH force with primary key

4 FROM sgreports.summary;

Materialized view created.

I took time to find what has caused the deadlock,sound like joke,isn't it:)
