Setting up Mercurial on Mac

(1) Create your user name

Create a file called .hgrc under your home directory (like /Users/jeantc)

Type the following three lines in to the file:

   [ui]

   username=jeantc@mac                                                      

   ssh = ssh -C

(2) Set up SSH.

It takes several steps to do this. Here's a very clear and detailed tutorial to do this:

(3) Set up the repositor y.

1.create a new folder  called my_repository at any place you like.

2.Enter my_repository. This is the folder of your repository. And you put all your code in this folder.

3.Create a folder called .hg using the following command.

  hg init

4.Enter .hg foler. Create a file called hgrc and type in the following things:

   [paths]                                                                     

   default = ssh:// hg@bitbucket.org/jeantc21/mac_omr 

   [ui]

   username = jeantc@mac

(4) Pull all the codes from bitbucket to my_repository

   Enter my_repository, type the following line:

    hg clone ssh:// hg@bitbucket.org/jeantc21/mac_omr

(5) Now you should have all the codes in my_repository by now.

   And you should be able to run your code now.
