1202530 - Error: "HTTP Status 500"" when attempting to log on to Java InfoView using Active Directory(配置ＢＯＳＳＯ出现的问题解决方案）

Symptom

In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2, when attempting to log on to Java InfoView using Active Directory and Single Sign-On, a lengthy error message appears beginning with the following:

"HTTP Status 500 - com.wedgetail.idm.sso.ProtocolException"".

Cause

This error message occurs because there is an issue with the domain name system (DNS).

Resolution

To resolve this error message, verify that the DNS can resolve both the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) and the short name of the server.

As a workaround, add a Service Provider Name (SPN) to the HTTP account of the existing SPN similar to the following:

Setspn "a HTTP/HOSTNAME vintelauser
