Centos5 Ruby 1.8.5升级到1.8.6

for use with yum create ruby.repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d/:

[ruby] 
name=ruby 
baseurl=http://repo.premiumhelp.eu/ruby/ 
gpgcheck=0 
enabled=0

In case you're new to yum as I was, the repository is only added temporaraly when the switch...

-enablerepo=ruby

...is included in the command line. You'll need to combine the encluderepo switch with the install command as follows. 

yum --enablerepo=ruby install ruby
yum --enablerepo=ruby install rubygems
