1. start - control Panel - software - postgres - click uninstall
2. net user postgres /delete (or Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Local Users and Groups - Users )
3. remove Postgres folder in C: \ Documents and Settings\
4. remove files where postgresql is installed. such as c:\program files\postgres or other locations
5. Delete the folder "Documents and Settings%USER%ApplicationDatapostgresql "
6. remove all the postgresql registries
7. Remove the postgresql-version service. (sc delete postgresql-version )
WindowsSearch feature and search for "postgre*". might help to find the postgre related files
