Why the content assist can not be used in MyEcplise or a higher version Ecplise?
Because the keyboard shortcuts conflicted with the one in windows ,and you can do as follows step by step:

1.open the preference->General->keys
2.input "word completion" in the right side and press the button named "Unbind Command" ,you can input any keyboard shortcuts in the text besides the Binding label.
3.press the Apply button and input content assist in the type filter text
4.press "Unbind command" and input Alt+/ in the text besides Binding label ,then press ok.
