Located on No.76, Xingye Road, Shanghai and built in the autumn of 1920, the site of the first national representative congress of CPC is a typical Shanghai-style residence.
On July 23nd, 1921, the first national representative congress of CPC was held here, in which the first principle and the first decision had been passed, the central leading organization had been selected and the birth of CPC had been announced.
In September, 1952, the site of the first congress of CPC was repaired and its museum was built and opened to the public.
Apart from the representative of the first congress of CPC, the history and development progress of CPC is introduced in the museum.
Now it has become patriotism education base to learn the history of CPC and commemorate revolutionary martyrs.
