2020美国大学生数学建模比赛（MCM/ICM）时间调整通知

为了支持伟大的中华人民共和国应对冠状病毒的爆发，COMAP 决定今年额外提供一个参加 MCM/ICM 比赛的时间。

为了让所有报名的参赛队都能参加比赛，组委会决定把 MCM/ICM 比赛分为两个周末。参赛队可以选择 2020 年 2 月 13 日至 17 日的周末参赛或 2020 年 3 月 5 日至 9 日的周末参赛。比赛开始前你不需要选择在哪个周末参赛。两个周末所使用的赛题不同。但是，每个参赛队只能在其中的一个周末参赛，并且只能提交一个问题解决方案。

无论参赛队计划在哪个周末参赛，所有参赛队伍必须在美国东部时间 2020 年 2 月 13 日（星期四）下午 3:00 的报名截止日期前注册。已经注册并收到参赛编号（控制编号）的参赛队不需要重新注册。

第一个周末：2 月 13-17 日，解决方案须在 2 月 17 日前提交**

• 报名截止时间：美国东部时间 2020 年 2 月 13 日，星期四下午 3:00。

• 赛题发布时间：美国东部时间 2020 年 2 月 13 日，星期四下午 5:00。

温馨提示：

• 通知中的时间都是美国东部时间，美国东部时间比北京时间慢 13 小时。

• "比赛开始前你不需要选择在哪个周末比赛"，这表明你有两次参赛机会。如果第一个周末的题不顺眼，可以再等下一个周末。当然下一个周末的题有可能更不顺眼。

In solidarity and sympathy with Chinese students and colleagues as they deal with the coronavirus outbreak, COMAP has decided to offer an alternate entrance into MCM/ICM for this year.

In an effort to accommodate all students/teams we will be breaking the MCM/ICM competition into 2 contest weekends. Teams may choose from either Weekend 1: February 13-17, 2020 or Weekend 2: March 5-9, 2020. You are NOT required to choose a weekend prior to the contest start. Each weekend will offer a selection of different problems. However, teams may only submit a solution during one weekend and to only one problem.

All teams must be registered by the registration deadline of 3:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 13, 2020 regardless of the weekend they plan to compete. Teams that have already registered and received a team number/control number DO NOT need to re-register.

Weekend 1 will be February 13-17, 2020 solutions will be due on February 17th**

• Registration Deadline: Before 3:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

• Problems Posted for Weekend 1: Starts: 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

• Contest Weekend 1 Ends: 8:00 p.m. EST on Monday, February 17, 2020.

• Solution Report Weekend 1 Deadline: 9:00 p.m. EST on Monday, February 17, 2020.

Weekend 2 will be March 5-9, 2020 solutions will be due on March 9th**
