生物活性：Ceftobiprole (Ro 63-9141) 是一种广谱头孢菌素，对耐甲氧西林 (MRSA) 和万古霉素耐药的葡萄球菌 (VRSA) 以及耐青霉素的链球菌具有高水平的体外活性，MIC90< /sub> MRSA 的值为 2 μg/mL。 Ceftobiprole 还抑制革兰氏阳性和革兰氏阴性病原体[1][2][3]。 IC50 和目标：MIC90：2 μg/mL (MRSA)[1]  

体外：Ceftobiprole (Ro 63-9141) 已证明对重要的革兰氏阳性菌具有活性，包括 S。肺炎 (PRSP), 耐甲氧西林S.金黄色葡萄球菌（耐甲氧西林金黄色葡萄球菌）和大肠杆菌。 MIC90 值分别为 0.25、2 和 2 mcg/mL。 Ceftobiprole 还证明了对社区相关耐甲氧西林链球菌的几种临床分离株的有效体外活性。金黄色葡萄球菌 (CA-MRSA), S.金黄色葡萄球菌 (VISA), 和S. aureus (VRSA)，最低抑菌浓度 (MIC) 为 2 mcg/mL[1]。
头孢比普利对金黄色葡萄球菌有很强的活性，MICs范围为0.12-4 mg/L（只有一种耐药菌株，MIC为4 mg/L）。此外，Ceftobiprole 对甲氧西林敏感的 S 的活性高出两倍。 aureus (MSSA) 菌株的 MIC50 和 MIC90 为 0.5 mg/L，而 MRSA 菌株的 MIC50 和 MIC 90 为 1 mg/L。此外，与 PVL 相比，Panton-Valentine leukocidin (PVL)+MRSA 对 Ceftobiprole（MIC50 为 0.5 mg/L 和 MIC90 为 1 mg/L）的敏感性略高-MRSA（MIC50 和 MIC90 为 1 mg/L）[2]。
