AIX下使用ACFS的bug

DESCRIPTION

1) On Standalone or RAC cluster configurations, after 2 weeks of rebooting the node, the system starts to page eventually leading to a point when the server needs to be rebooted again.

2) Using the AIX perfpmr tool, the kdb output for "xm -u" command was collected/obtained:

3) This output shows the address of the text from where KsMalloc was called:

OCCURRENCE

Every 2 weeks or so.

SYMPTOMS

Excessive system paging due to “oracleoks.ext” leaking.

WORKAROUND

 Periodically reboot the affected node.

PATCHES

1) This problem is due to the next bug:

3) Therefore, this memory leak is fixed by applying the following patch:

4) The fix for Bug 18168684 is also included in 11.2.0.4.5 GI PSU and 12.1.0.2.
