NABCD Model

1. Need

The Mid-Autumn Festival Bobing is an important folk competitive game in the southern Fujian region with Xiamen as the center. The game is to roll six dice to win the moon cakes of the first prize, second place, third flower, jinshi, juren, and scholar. The rules are fair, simple and interesting. Due to the impact of the epidemic, it is difficult for family members to get together to bobing, so it is necessary for us to create Bobing software, so that even if we cannot get together, we can enjoy the fun of Bobing together online.

2. Approach

We use ink knives for prototyping. Because it is more convenient to use, the display effect is better, and the design efficiency and effect are greatly improved. We plan to use unity 3D to model the dice in the next experiments and simulate the collision effect.

3.Benefit

The software not only actively responds to the national epidemic prevention policy, but also enjoys the fun of making cakes with family and friends online, which can alleviate the sadness of not being able to reunite due to the epidemic
The game interface is beautiful, the software is easy to operate, and both young and old can enjoy. And you can open the background music to increase the atmosphere of the holiday
There are three game modes, fully considering the needs of users. And there is a ranking in the multiplayer mode, which can increase the fun of the game

4. Competitors

Other Bobing software on the market generally insert many ads, which can cause players to feel annoyed and dissatisfied when using. But our software has a simple interface and no ads.
Compared to traditional Bobing, online pokies do not require 6 dice to be prepared in advance and there is no need to memorize the rules of bobing. The software is simple and easy to use.
Compared with other gambling games, bobing have more historical significance and can enhance the relationship between family and friends.

5. Delivery

We will eventually create an app that will be available on both the Apple Store and the Android Store. And we will post promotional videos on bilibili, tik tok, and Weibo to expand our player base.

 Summary

The first time I tried to do game development, I spent some time doing requirements analysis and things like that. My partner was in charge of UI design, I only put forward some suggestions, I will try my best to finish the following work.

It's also an opportunity to start learning unity, which I think will be fun.
