SYMPTOMS
DataPump import (IMPDP) fails with error:
Note 755253.1 was followed to rectify this. The import excluding indexes runs successfully.
The note says to run the impdp again with the include indexes after first excluding those. With the included indexes, this also generates errors and does not produce the results suggested by the note.
There are three errors types, two of them recur multiple times:
ORA-01408: such column list already indexed
- OR -
ORA-39111: Dependent object type INDEX_STATISTICS skipped, base object type
CAUSE
The issue is due to unpublished

fixed in Oracle 12.1
The fix will change the dumpfile format of the statistics collected. That is why the fix will be in the next release and will not be backported to previous one.

SOLUTION

- OR -
- Run the import excluding the statistics and gather the statistics manually.
