【转】期刊投稿信和催稿信

一篇文章的发表需要不停地与编辑部进行沟通，主要有投稿cover letter、修改稿cover letter、修改稿回复意见、延长修改邮件、询问进度邮件、催接收/发表邮件、接收感谢信（非必要）、校稿邮件。

投稿cover letter

cover letter又叫致编辑信。一般来说，投稿的cover letter中包含的部分应有对全文的简短总结、文章的意义与亮点，与期刊的相关性，推荐审稿人都有哪些，表明没有一稿多投，其它特殊要求等。

Dear Editor:
I wish to submit a research article for publication in xxx (期刊名), titled “xxxxxx”. The paper was coauthored by xxx, xxx, xxx, xx.
This study xxx（全文的简短总结）. We believe that our study makes a significant contribution to the literature because xxxxxx (文章的亮点总结).
Further, we believe that this paper will be of interest to the readership of your journal because xxxxxx (与期刊相关领域的相关性).
Please consider, as potential referees, （如果有推荐审稿人写上）
This manuscript has not been published or presented elsewhere in part or in entirety and is not under consideration by another journal. 修改稿cover letter

常规回复，表示感谢并告知你提供的修改文件包含哪些。

The authors wish to express their appreciations to you and your team for the insightful review. Each comment and suggestion were helpful. We have revised the manuscript according to your kind advices and referee’s detailed suggestions. The revised manuscript with revision marks were attached as the supplemental materials and for easy check/editing purpose. A document ”xxx“ (文件名) answering all comments from the referees was also summarized and enclosed. Thank you very much for all your work and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

修改稿回复意见

意见回复中的套路用语。

We are very sorry for our negligence of ……… We are very sorry for our incorrect writing ……… It is really true as Reviewer suggested that…… We have made correction according to the Reviewer’s comments. We have re-written this part according to the Reviewer’s suggestion As Reviewer suggested that…… Considering the Reviewer’s suggestion, we have ……
延长修改邮件

最好是在deadline之前提交延长交稿的时间，延长的理由通常都是还需要一点时间让文章变得更好。再好不要有第二次延长申请。

Dear Editor：
I am the author of the manuscript xxx (文章ID或题目) , which is currently under review by your Journal. We would like to thank for the precious comments from the Reviewers. At the moment, we are still performing major required changes to our manuscript suggested by the Reviewers. However, there are some key suggestions, which need more time to discuss and revise. Also, in order to improve the readability of the manuscript, we would like to send it for language revision by a professional manuscript editing company. Thus, it is very unlikely that we could meet the provided revision deadline xx (原有日期). In that case, I would like to see if it is possible to extend the revision deadline for around (需要延长到的新时间). Please kindly let us know your decision, and we thank in advance for your kind consideration.

用语得当，该问就问，不过很多时刻编辑不会回的。

Really sorry to disturb you. I am the author of the manuscript xxx (文章ID或题目) . I am not sure if it is the right time to enquire the review status of my manuscript, submitted to the journal on (交稿日期).
I would be greatly appreciated if you could check the status for me. I am very pleased to hear from you on the reviewer’s comments. Thank you very much for your consideration.

催接收/发表邮件

到了这一选项，那就火烧眉毛了。这类邮件中重要的部分个人看来有两点意思要表达到：1. 充分的催接收/发表理由。很多网上的说法是不要详细说明理由，因为你的紧急跟编辑没关系，只需要正常问文章状态即可。其实不然，你的状况一定要让编辑知悉，让编辑理解到你不得不发这封邮件；2. 如果文章质量能够被接收，还请编辑尽快马上就接收吧。另一个意思也就是说如果文章还不到火候，那当这封邮件不存在，后续返回再慢慢改，别现在立马就作个了断。

I am sorry to be bothering you, however, I wish to serve you a kind reminder about the revised manuscript xxx (文章ID或题目). I am hopeful of the fact that your high office is actively working on it. Nonetheless, I am scheduled to graduate (你催稿事由), and I am required to have the manuscript accepted/published. In this respect, I was wondering if it would be appropriate to know in advance if my paper may be considered for acceptance in your journal, so I would be able to put in other preparations for my graduation (你下一步计划).

不要怕发邮件，怕扰了编辑的美梦拒了文章，其实你文章被拒和邮件几乎是没有关系的，那些发完催稿就拒的，也是由于编辑本就打算拒了。
