brief introduction to the project

Hi, I'm an undergraduate student from Computer Science Department of Beijing University of XXX.

 

Here I want to talk about my diploma project.

 

Given hardware of the project:

 

• HBE Robocar-embeded . Website: http://hanback.cn/pro.asp?nclassid=14&nclass=HBE-RoboCAR-Embedded&anclassid=5&anclass=%D6%C7%C4%DC%BB%FA%C6%F7%C8%CB
• PC:  
  •  HP V3511 TU
  •  Memory: 1GB 
  •  OS: Windows 7 Flagship 
  •  Processer: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU 1.80GHz

Needed software of the project:

• VMware Workstation (Version's not clear)
• Ubuntu OS on VMware (Version's not clear)
• VC 6.0

Goal of this project:

• PC gets the video from Robocar-embeded Camera.
• Robocar follows the object, say a PingPong, which would appear in front of it, by PC's analyzing the video from the car.

Scheduled time:

• 3 month (which is quite enough considering my lack of experience in Computer Vision programming and Embeded programming )
