Ubuntu10.04 install Hansky Firefly Client

1. Create a directory "/usr/local/Hansky" on your computer.

   [/]# mkdir /usr/local/Hansky

2. Copy the installation package file to the /usr/local/Hansky directory.

   [/]# cp firefly_client_unix.zip /usr/local/Hansky

3. Decompress firefly_client_unix in the directory /usr/local/Hansky.

   [/]# cd /usr/local/Hansky   [Hansky]# unzip -q firefly_client_unix.zip

   After decompression, Firefly Client application will be installed in the directory /usr/local/Hansky/Firefly/Client.

4. Perform the following commands to end Client installation. Script file install.pl will ask for Java installation directory and set some variables automatically.

   [/]# cd /usr/local/Hansky/Firefly/Client/bin   [bin]# perl ./install.pl

   select the platform of your machine and input the JAVA home directory to complete the installation procedure.

5. Create link. Carry out the following commands in the path /usr/bin:

   [/]# cd /usr/bin   [bin]# ln –s /usr/local/Hansky/Firefly/Client/bin/hff /usr/bin/hff

   
   

后来发现，安装的是3.1版本的客户端，而服务器用的是4.1

从他们官网上又下不到4.1 client for linux

所以把window下的4.1 lib文件拷贝过去就可以了 不用重装
