前一段时间在研究和学习android的IPC binder通信机制，开始以为是Google研发的一个新的高效的IPC机制，后来通过研究发现，binder机制在android平台实现之前由Palm OS系统实现并贡献给我了开源社区。具体内容详见http://ask.chiusir.net/viewtopic.php?p=2629 。

Contributing to the Open Source Community - ACCESS and PalmSource have contributed Open Binder, a component object framework, similar in general concept to DCOM and CORBA, but better scaled for use on small devices. Open Binder provides a unique inter-process communication (IPC) paradigm implemented as a kernel-loadable driver, and incorporates a broad range of programmatic utility classes and frameworks. PalmSource and ACCESS have released the Binder driver and its associated frameworks to the open source community. For more information, see http://www.openbinder.org .
