VMware 的文件导入 VirtualBox

VirtualBox and VMware's ovftool have a different idea of how a storage controller should be described. This prevents exporting a VM from, e.g. VMware Fusion, and then importing it into VirtualBox. However, this can be worked around.

Ovftool produces output like

but VirtualBox wants a tag named Caption, not ElementName. It also wants ResourceSubType to be just 'AHCI'. See the code below

If you modify the ovf file to make these changes, the import should succeed. After modfying it, be sure to update the sha1sum of the ovf file in the mf file.

 

 

 

就是修改.vof文件,对应配置,

增加<rasd:Caption>sataController0</rasd:Caption>

 修改值<rasd:ResourceSubType>AHCI</rasd:ResourceSubType>

另外,.mf文件里面的sha1值要修改下,下个软件来算下新的vof文件sha1值就可以了!不改的话,导入时校验sha1会失败.

 

 

 

 

导入最后依然出现错误

Failed to import appliance *.ovf

Couldn’t verify the content of “*” against the available filter(VERR_MAINFEST_FILE_MISMATCH).即mf修改之后依然不可用

i had the same problem with the version 3.1.4. According to a comment found here聽

the system check the manifest file just if it exist. What i did was simplyremove the .mffile from the directory where the .ovf and .vmdk files are and the import works fine.

This is not a solution but at least you can import your stuff.

即删除 .vf 文件

删除之后可以正常导入，启动又出现问题：

 

Unable to load R3 module DIR/VBoxDD.DLL (VBoxDD): GetLastError=1790 (VERR_UNRESOLVED_ERROR).

 

查看下你的操作系统类型，是32位的还是64位的。.然后去其它的电脑上面将上面的C:\Windows\system32\uxtheme.dll 文件拷贝过来，直接覆盖上面的文件或者去网上下载一个这个文件。进行替换。

 

替换之前先备份，该库一旦替换出错，系统可能无法进入桌面管理器

 

 

 

 

 

 

Vmware 虚拟硬盘 合并多个分割文件

有时，当我们创建虚拟机vmware里面的应用程序，我们可能会选择创建分割的虚拟磁盘中的多个文件2 GB的文件，这是为了提高复制过程，主要用于存储虚拟机文件系统不支持创建更大的文件。

如果我们需要将它转换回是一个单一的文件，有一个工具，可以用来操纵虚拟磁盘的vmware- vdiskmanager.exe ，这个工具可以用来转换这些文件是单个文件，通过使用下面的命令。

vmware-vdiskmanager.exe -r "D:\PeopleSoft HCM9.2+PT8.52 VM\Windows Server 2008 R2 x64-cl1.vmdk" -t 0"D:\Merged.vmdk"

后续操作需要重新设置虚拟机，将原来的硬盘文件替换掉即可。
