虚拟语句

1. If it had not been for your selfless and continuous help,I fear that I would have failed my final examinations.

   如果没有你无私和持续的帮助，我的期末考试恐怕是通不过的。

 

 (1) 与过去事实相反的虚拟假设，从句--have done  主句--would have done

 

 

2. Were there more people like you, this world would be a better place to live in.

 如果有更多人像你一样的话，这个世界将变成更美好的地方。

 

  (1) 与现在事实相反的虚拟假设，从句谓语--were 主句--would be 

  (2) 如果从句谓语中含 had  were should ,则可将if省略，然后将had were should 移至句首形成倒装。

  (3) 还原：If there were more people like you, this world would be a better place to live in.
